2018 Yamaha Boats 242 Limited S

Popular Size and Style Yamaha Jet Boat!

She is Clean and Has Low Hours

This 2018 Yamaha 242 Limited S is the ultimate grab-and-go family boat — and with a brand new trailer included, this really is a turnkey, tow-it-home-today package. Yamaha's 240 Series redefined what a jet boat could be, and the 242 Limited S sits at the top of that lineup, blending zippy performance with genuine day-cruiser comfort.

Power comes from twin 1.8L high-output four-stroke jet engines, purpose-built for marine use and known as some of the most reliable powerplants on the water. No exposed prop, no sterndrive to worry about — just clean, responsive acceleration and the kind of shallow-water confidence only a jet boat can offer.

Performance & Handling

Yamaha's articulating keel and refined hull design give the 242 Limited S crisp, connected handling that changed the way people think about jet boats — confident in hard-over turns, easy to maneuver at the dock, and quiet underway thanks to Yamaha's sound-dampening engineering.

Features & Layout

• Seating for up to 10, with a removable dinette for lounging or dining
• Wakeboard tower with integrated LED lighting and speakers
• Polk Audio marine stereo with Bluetooth connectivity
• Swim platform with fold-down boarding ladder
• Bimini top for shade on long days out
• Fold-down tower for easy trailering

Why She Stands Out

Jet propulsion means peace of mind around swimmers and skiers, easy operation for the whole family, and access to shallow water that would keep a sterndrive boat on the trailer. Paired with a brand new trailer, this 242 Limited S is ready to launch the moment it changes hands — no scrambling for tow gear, no unknowns on the frame or tires.
